BAC Bacteriostatic Water is prepared with water for injection supplemented with pharmaceutical-grade benzyl alcohol. It is a colorless, clear liquid raw material. Adopting aseptic preparation technology, it serves as supporting solvent for various lyophilized powder, especially suitable for filling of dual-chamber isolation vials.

The system delivers persistent bacteriostatic capacity, inhibiting microbial growth after lyophilized powder reconstitution and preventing rapid deterioration of active raw materials. Benzyl alcohol inhibits reproduction of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, slowing contamination after powder reconstitution.
